This reference is the contemporary manual-wind Speedmaster Moonwatch in a 42 mm stainless-steel case, distinguished by its silver-tone dial with black chronograph registers, black anodized aluminum tachymeter bezel, sapphire crystal, and sapphire exhibition caseback. The combination gives the classic Moonwatch layout a higher-contrast, modern presentation while retaining the familiar asymmetrical Speedmaster case and manual chronograph operation. It is powered by Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861, a hand-wound chronograph movement certified to Omega’s Master Chronometer standard. The movement has a stated approximately 50-hour power reserve and is designed with resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.
