IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph — Reference IW377709 A purpose-built aviator's chronograph from IWC Schaffhausen, housed in a robust 43mm stainless steel case with a screwed-in crown and 15.4mm height. The black dial is set beneath a convex sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides, secured against displacement from air pressure changes — a detail drawn straight from IWC's pilot's watch heritage. Powered by the automatic IWC-manufactured Caliber 79320 (240 components, 25 jewels, 28,800 vph/4Hz), finished with Côtes de Genève and Perlage decoration and offering a 44-hour power reserve. The movement sits in a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields, another hallmark of IWC's Pilot's Watch line. Functions include chronograph hours, minutes and seconds, day and date display, and small hacking seconds for precise time-setting. Presented on the original black calfskin strap (21mm lug width). Water resistant to 6 bar. Offered in excellent preowned condition, complete with box and papers (full set).
